KORN Providing Extra 'Values' With Second Stage
May 13, 2006Launch Radio Networks reports: Along with bringing back the Family Values tour this summer for the first time in years, KORN is introducing a new wrinkle to the show with a second stage. KORN singer Jonathan Davis told Launch that the additional acts will complement the main stage nicely. "I don't have the lineup now, but it's gonna be another, I think, three or four bands will be on that stage," he said. "So altogether I think it's 10 bands. And they'll be playing over there before we play on the main stage. So that should be good."
KORN headlined the first Family Values tour in 1998, with later editions going out in 1999 and 2001.
In addition to KORN, the main stage lineup for this summer's version features co-headliners the DEFTONES, STONE SOUR, FLYLEAF and Japanese band DIR EN GREY.
Each stop on the 30-city tour will feature lawn tickets for just $9.99. The tour kicks off on July 27 in Virginia Beach, with exact dates and venues still to be announced.
